Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia's engagement with Iran has affected their ties with the US.

6.
India and Indonesia on Tuesday reached a significant milestone in their growing strategic cooperation by signing a deal for the supply of the Astra Mk 1 'beyond-visual-range air-to-air missiles' (BVRAAM).
Beyond-visual-range missiles are those capable of engaging beyond the range of 20 nautical miles, or 37 km. Air-to-air missiles are primarily fired from an airborne asset to destroy an airborne target.
The development is significant as it marks India's first export of Astra missiles to another country. These missiles will arm Indonesia's Su-30 fleet.

The Union Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has proposed protection and development works at Indira Point and the famous lighthouse at the site in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. • The lighthouse at Indira Point is an important landmark on the Singapore-Colombo international maritime route and is used as a navigational aid.
It also holds importance for safe navigation towards the Galathea Bay in the coming times, where a transshipment port has been proposed.

Every year, more than 26 lakh Indians are diagnosed with TB. The conversation that follows is almost always about which drugs, for how long, and whether the strain is resistant. I have witnessed patients with an accurate diagnosis and drugs lose ground, week by week, because a body without adequate nutrition cannot fight this disease. We have shortened treatment regimens, extended social support to patients on treatment and tracked the treatment journey in real time digitally. In the Indian context, research shows that a severely undernourished TB patient is four times more likely to die during treatment.
India has not ignored this critical overlap. The TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan has made a meaningful conceptual shift: Individuals with a BMI below 18.5 are identified as vulnerable and prioritised for TB screening and offered X-rays - even for those without symptoms. Once a person is diagnosed with TB, tailored and individualised care is built into the treatment pathway.
10.
President Donald Trump said an interim agreement to end war with Iran was "over" and the United States was likely to launch new strikes on Wednesday night following Iranian attacks on US bases in the Gulf.
11.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Wednesday lowered its global growth forecast for 2026 by a marginal 10 basis points (bps) to 3% on the assumption that the Strait of Hormuz begins reopening in mid-July and the situation broadly returns to prewar state by March 2027 - even as US President Donald Trump said he thinks the ceasefire with Iran is over.
