1. Shubhanshu Shukla:

• He is set to become the first Indian astronaut to travel to the International Space Station (ISS). 
• He has been selected as the pilot for the upcoming Axiom Mission 4, which is being organised in collaboration between a private US space company Axiom Space and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
• He is a distinguished pilot in the Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter wing and has been handpicked as one of the four astronauts for the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) historic Gaganyaan mission—the nation’s inaugural human space flight endeavour.

2. Sharda Sinha:

• She passed away in 2024 and was posthumously honoured with the prestigious Padma Vibhushan in January 2025. 
• She was also known as the "Bihar Kokila," and was a beloved figure in the Indian music world, celebrated for her deep-rooted contribution to Bhojpuri and Maithili folk music.
• She was earlier honoured with the Padma Shri in 1991 and Padma Bhushan in 2018.

3. Australian Open Winners:

• The Australian Open, one of the world's major tennis championships (the first of the four annual Grand Slam events), was held at the National Tennis Centre at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Australia.
• Jannik Sinner won the 2025 Australian Open in men's singles.
