Earlier this month, the Karnataka High Court ruled that aggregators such as Rapido, Ola and Uber can no longer operate bike taxi services in the state until the relevant rules and regulations are laid down under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (MVA). The court granted a six week period to these companies to wind down operations.
